San Martino agli Ulivi is surrounded by a large 3000 square metre park where olive trees alternate with lawns, rosemary, lavender and hypericum bushes, many types of roses, geraniums and flowers, fruit trees, lemons, aromatic plants (laurel, basil, chamomile, wild fennel, mallow, mint, oregano, sage, thyme).
Near the swimming pool the owners take care of a small vegetable garden with seasonal products ( tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini, chillies) that guests can pick by themselves.
Many relax areas in the large garden also allow a large group to find moments of silence and tranquility. On the balcony of the apartment Botticelli are wicker chairs to enjoy a glass of Syrah at sunset. The other two apartments have a little private outdoor space with table and chairs. In addition to the apartments, you can also connect to the Internet from all outdoor areas of the park and from the pool.
On the ground level, the large and welcoming kitchen is perfect to have access to the gazebo and to the barbecue. The swimming pool (9 x 4 meters with a single depth of 1.20 meters) is surrounded by nature, set deep among ancient olive trees, flowery hedges and a large lawn. It was built in an splendid panoramic position on a natural terrace and offers a striking view of Cortona and the valley. It is exposed to the south with sunshine all day. There are many deck chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas and a solar shower with hot and cold water.
Swimming pool rules
Since 2026, the pool has been a saltwater pool. Salt is converted into chlorine through electrolysis, which reduces the use of chemicals. Saltwater is gentler on the skin, reduces the risk of eye irritation and redness, and leaves the skin feeling smoother and free of the chlorine smell, making swimming a much more comfortable experience.
The pool is equipped with a PVC cover that protects the pool from the elements and dirt and helps maintain the water temperature.
